About Ingrid Lin

I am a physiotherapist and early-career researcher. I recently completed by PhD at Macquarie University which focused on habit-forming exercise for older adults after stroke. My research interests are in exercise, stroke, rehabilitation and particularly physical activity and health promotion by physiotherapists in older adults and those with chronic health conditions. I have worked on multiple funded trials and thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams. I have expertise in study design, project management, data management and scientific writing. With a strong clinical background, having delivered physiotherapist services across various inpatient settings, my experiences give me a unique perspective on both clinical practice and research. I am dedicated to translating research into practice in a way that enhances patient outcomes.
