I specialise in both contentious and non-contentious Employment Law and predominantly advise employers. I provide advice, representation and advocacy in relation to disciplinary and grievance process and procedures, all areas of discrimination, dismissal, redundancy, immigration and employment tribunal process. I am regularly involved in drafting and negotiating contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, service agreements and settlement agreements. I have significant experience in drafting wide ranging employment handbooks, policies and procedures. I often assist clients with general employment law and HR advice and have significant sector experience in retail, energy, education and transport. I also have significant experience in providing in depth commercial support in relation to TUPE for mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing arrangements. I have written articles for Business Women Scotland Magazine and have been a regular contributor to advising clients on recent developments in employment law updates Skills & Expertise Unfair Dismissal, Disciplinary and Grievances, Sickness Absence Management, Performance and Misconduct Management and Dismissals, Redundancy, TUPE and Mergers and Acquisitions, Employment Tribunals Advocacy, Practice and Procedure, Discrimination, Equal Pay and Statutory Equality Duties and Immigration.
