About Ingrid Passos

With over six years of work experience in the chemical industry, I am passionate about applying smart manufacturing solutions to optimize the efficiency and reliability of air separation units. As a LEAD Center Manager at Air Liquide, I lead a team of engineers and technicians who are responsible for developing and implementing advanced process control and automation projects across multiple sites. My mission is to leverage my expertise in process engineering, control systems design and data analysis to deliver innovative and sustainable outcomes for our customers, partners, and stakeholders. In my current role, I manage the entire project lifecycle, from scoping and planning to execution and validation. I work closely with operations, production, and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for improvement, design and test control strategies, and deploy and monitor control systems. I also provide technical support and training for plant operators and engineers, and troubleshoot and resolve any issues or anomalies. Some of the skills that I use daily include HAZOP study, process flow diagrams, programming and data visualization. I am proud of the results that I have achieved with my team, such as increasing the plant availability, reducing the energy consumption, and enhancing the product quality.
