Background

About Ingvild Riiser Beasley

I am a recent graduate of The University of Oregon’s Master’s degree program in Prevention Science, currently in the search for a full-time job opportunity in Oslo, Norway. With a master's degree in prevention science and a bachelor's degree in psychology, I have gained knowledge that can be useful in various work situations. I have, among other things, learned how to become a knowledgeable consumer of research, how to start and finish a project, and how to disseminate my work through presentations and professional writing. Furthermore, studying in a different country has helped me to develop my personal qualities and strengthen my cultural competence and my ability to adapt. I was inspired to study prevention science in order to find a way to impact people on a grander scale, and I’m excited to use the knowledge and skills gained to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities.
