About Innocent Ngonga

I am a dynamic Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer at People in Need (PIN), an international NGO currently implementing the European Union-funded Civil Society – Local Empowerment and Development (CS LEADs) project. With over 6 years of progressive work experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), Information Systems, Data Analysis, Data Management, and Evaluation, I have developed a strong track record in driving data systems, learning, and performance measurement across both development and health programs.I hold a Bachelor’s degree in ICT in Information Systems, two Monitoring and Evaluation certifications, a White Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management. My professional journey began as an Information Systems Engineer at Infrobroad Technology Limited, where I managed IT infrastructure and coordinated technology projects. I then served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Avencion, a CDC-subcontracted nonprofit, improving HIV program data quality and reporting across over 24 health facilities.Subsequently, I worked at the Ministry of Health as a District Assistant Information Officer/IT Support in the Planning and Information/M&E Department at Kaoma District Health Office, overseeing health information systems and supporting M&E functions across 38 health facilities. In my current role at People in Need, I lead MEAL activities under the EU-funded CS LEADs project, focused on strengthening civil society through robust data systems, accountability frameworks, and evidence-driven learning processes.I bring expertise in conducting evaluations (baseline, midterm, and endline), performing data quality audits, and supporting IT systems. I am also skilled in capacity building on data systems for health and development staff and the development of MEAL tools and indicators aligned with project goals. Recognized for my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to high-impact results, I integrate M&E, project management, and technology to drive organizational success and development outcomes.
