About Inta Edgarsson

Working with policy documents, responses to consultative documents and review material ahead of national and international meetings is something that my researchful mind enjoys doing. I like navigating in the political environment and policy making process. Familiarity of politics and governance of countries in the Baltic Sea Region is one of my merits. I have been working with local authorities, NGOs and governmental bodies in these countries. As a advocacy specialist, I have lead activities to implement organisation´s advocacy strategy, such as held regular meetings with public officials and politicians at national level, civil society organisations and their national platforms, submitted changes in legal framework and raised awaireness on specific topics. I have learned to use various ICT tools to manage events and even create websites and mobile web-based apps for events. Project management and event coordination is also one of my strong pursuits. I have managed projects with external funding (with me being the proposal writer) and also coordinated activities planned by external bodies and other stakeholders. I am experienced in NGOs, good governance, international collaboration, employability measures for young people, prevention of early school leaving, relationship (network) building and management, answering calls of proposals nationally and internationally, and initiate and manage projects.
