Nigeria qualified lawyer and Associate at Appleby- Jersey office where I advise on M&A, Private Equity, Fund Financing and other corporate transactions. Previously and for nearly four years, I worked across the (a) Mergers, Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice and (b) the Enterprise and Business Advisory Practice at Olaniwun Ajayi LP, a leading commercial law firm in Nigeria. During this period, I advised on a broad range of market-defining transactions impacting the Nigerian and wider African market. I had previously worked in the dispute resolution team of SimmonsCooper Partners, where I was primarily engaged in commercial dispute resolution. I have a first class degree from the Nigerian Law School, where I was placed in the top 0.1% of about 5,800 students in my academic year. I was also the best graduating student of my University class which consisted of about 150 students.
