About Ioana Savin

With 20 years of experience in finance and treasury, I'm a SAP Project Implementation and an expert in financial controlling, cost savings strategies, and process improvement. I have a master's degree in management from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and a passion for delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis. As the Treasury Operations Manager at eMAG, I manage the treasury operations process for Dante International and 20 other companies from the eMAG Group, dealing with almost 150 bank accounts and a 10-member team. I am responsible for the marketplace treasury function and the customer refunds for eMAG, Fashion Days, and Freshful. I also perform treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and capital management, and manage and report all treasury accounting processes. Additionally, I am in charge of all SAP projects related to treasury functions, including SAF-T reporting of payments and incomes. My mission is to optimize the treasury operations and finance at eMAG, one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Eastern Europe.
