From the outset of my career, I’ve been drawn to the operational heartbeat of supply chains—where details matter, and precision drives results. Early experiences at Unilever and Lalizas gave me a strong foundation in procurement, inventory control, and supplier coordination across Europe and Asia. These roles taught me the value of consistency, data discipline, and aligned communication. In 2021, I transitioned into the metals and minerals sector, taking on the day-to-day realities of bonded warehouse operations. Managing refined copper flows under tight customs frameworks, I developed an appreciation for execution excellence—from physical handling and traceability to system integrity and client delivery. My most transformative chapter came at Trafigura, where I served as a Cargo Operator in a high-stakes global environment. There, I was entrusted with end-to-end coordination of refined copper shipments, ensuring timely, compliant delivery under LME/CME terms. Working across continents and time zones, I learned to navigate bonded logistics, optimize trade flows, and act as the link between commercial intent and operational delivery. The pace was demanding, but it refined my judgment and sharpened my instincts for problem-solving under pressure. Today, I’m based in Calgary, supporting refined copper operations across the Americas. My role bridges commercial priorities with frontline execution, blending logistics, compliance, and client-facing coordination in a dynamic market landscape. Looking ahead, I aim to evolve into leadership roles in Supply Chain Strategy, Procurement Excellence, or Commodity Operations Management—bringing together people, processes, and platforms to create sustainable, scalable value in the metals trade.
