About Ioannis Michalopoulos

Entrepreneur turned coder, I bring a unique blend of creative design and technical skills to the table. For years, I owned and operated a successful escape room business, where I designed complex puzzles and immersive stories that challenged participants' minds. This experience honed my skills in creativity, user experience design, and business management. Recently, I transitioned into the world of coding at Zone01 Athens, where I discovered that programming offers the same thrill of tackling complex challenges. My recent transition into coding has opened up new avenues for innovation. Winning a hackathon at OpenConf 2024, where I played a key role in idea, pitching and presentation, reaffirmed my ability to bridge the gap between complex technical ideas and audience engagement. I'm eager to bring my diverse skill set to the tech industry and contribute to projects that inspire and challenge. As I navigate this new chapter in the tech world, I'm enthusiastic about exploring all the possibilities it offers. Being new to the industry, I'm open to diverse opportunities where I can apply my creativity, problem-solving skills, and passion for technology. I'm eager to learn, grow, and contribute to projects that challenge me and make a meaningful impact. Feel free to DM me—I'm always open to connecting with like-minded professionals!
