About Ioannis Tzelatis

I have spent over 15 years immersed in the world of telecommunications and computer science, where I had the privilege of working on some truly exciting technologies. My journey began at the Technical University of Munich, where I earned my Master’s degree in Communications Engineering. Since then, I have been developing and optimizing protocol stacks for cutting-edge cellular technologies like 5G New Radio and LTE/LTE-Advanced. At Rohde & Schwarz, where I have worked as a Senior Protocol Stack Engineer, I have contributed to significant advancements in our understanding of protocol stack development. I have designed and developed key features that are integral to modern cellular networks. My experience extends back to my time at Nomor Research GmbH as both a Technical Team Leader and an R&D Engineer. There, I led teams focused on LTE L2/3 eNB Protocol Stack development while also diving into system-level simulations for various technologies. Outside of work, I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge, whether it is through online courses or engaging with fellow tech enthusiasts at meetups. I believe that continuous learning is vital in our fast-paced industry.
