About Ion Trifu

After finishing my PhD studies in Research on Reducing Cogging Torque in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generators domain in 2013, using finite element method (FEM), I continued the research, in collaboration with University Polytechnic Bucharest - Faculty of Electrical Engineering, on FEM analysis of permanent magnetic hybrid electrical-thermal generators using complex coupled finite element problems magneto-thermal focused to give fast and accurate numerical results. In parallel, with research activity 2016-2018, I have also worked from 2014-2019 for Automobile Renault Engineering site, as Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer, field of study concerned with the unintentional generation, propagation and reception of electromagnetic waves that cause unwanted effects on electronic equipment such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) or even physical damage. From November 2019 until now, I work as Software Test Automation Engineer for Luxoft Romania on Automotive projects for global companies (Continental, BMW), with more than three for experience in Android/QNX/Linux Infotainment systems, Diagnostic Log and Trace logging protocol and Human Machine Interface (HMI). To achieve the tasks, multiple tools were used, like: testing automation tools based on C++ and Python, Jira for bug reporting, GitHub and Git for version control and collaboration, Vector tools (CANoe,CANalyzer) for analysis and stimulation of network communication,(Integrated Calibration and Application Tool), Agile Methodology, participating at test case code reviews and software requirement reviews.
