Welcome to The Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing (IPTL) Program at KSUWith the major transformation taking place at King Saud University in which the university is becoming a major contributor to knowledge-based society, one of the most important contributions of the university would be to become a beacon of creativity and innovation where creative ideas are transformed into value-added products that help bolster growth in the Kingdom. With that in mind, the idea of creating the Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing Program came about so that it can be the channel through which innovators at KSU and other individuals can protect their intellectual property first and then witness their creative ideas transformed into real products that have an impact on society. This would help strengthen the society's confidence in the active and leading role of KSU, and would increase the industry's trust in KSU's scientific and technical capabilities which would eventually lead up to building a long-lasting and sustainable partnership between KSU and the industry.Our mission Our mission is to transfer technological innovation developed at KSU to society through the introduction of solutions and innovations with high economic value while contributing to funding of scientific research at the university.The Program strives to meet the following objectives:1.Facilitating patent registration and technology licensing for KSU staff and public2.Protection of intellectual property rights of the university.3.Contribution to funding of scientific research at KSU.4.Serving society and contribution to the national economy through the introduction of solutions and innovations with high economic value.5.Promotion of the culture of innovation and increase awareness of its importance among KSU staff in specific and the public in general.
