Background

About Irem Recebli

First and foremost, I love science. As soon as I entered a professional laboratory for the first, I realised that this is where I want to work in the future; to find medicinal and pharmaceutical-related solutions for current health issues by using the power of chemistry and biology. Currently, I am improving my theoretical knowledge and laboratory practice skills as a Chemistry with Management Studies undergraduate student at University College London (UCL). As a member of the UCL Chemical Physical Society, I love learning about developments and discoveries in my field. Additionally, I like working in start-ups as well as established companies due to my start-up experience in high school. For instance, my team with our start-up "Simple" achieved second place in Turkey in the category of the best marketing during the High School' Entrepreneurship Competition of Junior Achievement Foundation.
