About Irena Kos

If you've ever wondered what comes out when a supernova of curiosity for space exploration collides with a strong knack for persuading machines to behave and herding like-minded engineers, you’ve ended up in the right orbit. Just kidding: I don't know what comes out of it either, but the notion sounds deeply familiar. My toolkit includes not just software and systems engineering, but also an almost unhealthy appreciation for improbable problems, improbable (nay, innovative!) solutions, and the occasional improbable spacewalk. Tackling challenges that curdle the milk in a systems architect’s coffee—alongside a team of engineering magicians with a knack for a jest and a passion for superb quality—is just my cup of green tea. Admittedly, even rockets and satellites benefit from a sense of humour and a double-check. I stand by the motto that in space engineering, there’s no room for “mostly works.”
