I hold a BSc and Hons degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Makerere University, Uganda, a MSc and PhD in Organic Chemistry from University of the Free State, South Africa, a Higher Education diploma in Science Education (Orthopedagogics) from UNISA, a Management Certificate from Stellenbosch University and a TEFL Certificate. My career journey comprises working as lecturer and a researcher in Chemistry at University of the Free State, where I graduated a number of MSc and PhD students, working as Fuel Scientist at Sasol Technology R&D in South Africa and working as an academic advisor in the Faculty of Science at University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. My passion for education compelled me to join Sasol Inzalo Foundation in Johannesburg as a Programmes Manager where I successfully lead a number of programmes across the education continuum contributing to teaching and learning in STEM education, from the primary to tertiary levels. I am infectiously passionate about making a positive difference in lives of the youth. I pride myself in my successes as a mother, an academic and in the success of all my four children, also making strides on both the local and international fronts.
