About Irene Righetto

Righetto Irene has good management and leadership skills and she is an open minded and collaborative person, being able to relate with different culture people. After completing the B.Sc. in Molecular Biology at University of Milano-Bicocca with a bioinformatic thesis based on the glycosylation of IFN a2b in the therapy against hepatitis C, she moved to University of Padua and obtained the M.Sc. in Molecular Biology on October 2010 with a bioinformatic thesis based on a Reverse Vaccinology tool development. She also became a member of BITS (Bioinformatics ITalian Society). She is very interested in Computational Biology. She earned her Ph.D in Industrial Biotechnology in 2017. Actually, she is a post-doc and research assistant at Synthetic Biology and Biotechnology Group.
