I have 22 years total IT experience, 7 years Application/Middleware/SRE support experience. Within my service I have held Entrepreneurial, 1st Line, 2nd Line, Team Lead, Managerial, System Administration, SRE, Sales, Networking, DBA and Data Protection/Security, and now a DevOps role, never in a comfort zone for too long! Carrying out, preparing for and managing technical needs of deployments from non-Production to Production environments on JBoss, IIS, TIBCO and Tomcat platforms running on either Windows, Linux or AIX. From monolithic and distributed systems, manual deployments or platform automation deployments. Stabilising and maintaining application server performance for all environments. This includes incident or problem management which require immediate attention, as well as fault finding which impact overall performance. This may include the investigation of new solutions, processes and procedures to improve performance, efficiency and foresight. Implementing and maintaining monitoring solutions in all integration environments. Ongoing fulfilment of new monitoring requirements which have been discovered through the troubleshooting, incident and problem management processes. Formal or informal communication of the incident management process from a technical perspective whether it be to line managers, team leaders or other stakeholders. Implementation of, configuration of and deployments to TIBCO BW, AMX, iProcess Engine and BW environments. Similar experience with JBoss AS & Apache Tomcat as well as Microsoft IIS. Automated deployments via Jenkins and XLD/XLR and Bitbucket & TF Cloud & ADO with Ansible & Terraform. People and Capacity management, including mentoring and infrastructure provisioning.
