Throughout my career, I have been involved in various aspects of Statutory Audit, accounting and finance operations, including the preparation and maintenance of statutory books of accounts, finalization of year-end financial statements. As an Assistant Manager Finance and Accounts at West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited, I have been responsible for leading finance functions, establishing financial objectives, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance internal financial control. I have successfully coordinated with auditors and ensured compliance with audit requirements, including furnishing replies and resolving pending entries. Additionally, I have played a pivotal role in budget preparation, expenditure tracking, and the planning of procurement of funds for monthly payments. Furthermore, I have consistently maintained accurate and timely statutory books of accounts, financial statements, bank reconciliation, and consolidated reports in compliance with regulatory standards. During my tenure at Price Waterhouse Coopers Service Delivery Centre as a Senior Associate, I contributed to international audit and consultancy assignments for clients in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. This experience allowed me to handle statutory audits of various companies, perform substantive analytics and financial reviews based on applicable GAAP, IFRS, and PwC audit methodologies. I also conducted revenue testing, test bank reconciliations, and other detailed analyses. Additionally, I was responsible for preparing management representation letters and audit committee reports. In terms of computer proficiency, I am well-versed in Tally 9 (ERP Version), Microsoft Office, and SAP. These tools have enabled me to efficiently manage financial data, generate reports, and streamline processes.
