About Iris Bhima

I am a senior learning and development practitioner specializing in instructional design for multimodal learning interventions. In addition to almost 20 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering a diverse range of learning experiences, I have over the last decade, largely specialized in instructional design for multimodal learning interventions. I am passionate about people, specifically understanding how people learn, grow and develop. Accelerated technological advancements, changing regulatory requirements and talent retention are only some of the pressures faced in the microenvironment. Disruptive forces require organizations to change rapidly whilst still motivating, engaging, and retaining employees. Adapting will require the integration of people, cultural, regulatory, digital, and technical skills. As new processes, automation, and technology are introduced - people development, retention and upskilling bolsters strategic imperatives. Maintaining an appropriate and relevant balance between traditional and contemporary learning approaches, I strive to craft innovative, integrated, disruptive yet sustainable workplace learning experiences, geared towards encouraging a culture of continuous learning, growth and improvement.
