About Iris Calderon

In my previous roles, I developed custom piping and instrumentation diagrams (P & ID) for industrial refrigeration systems. I also designed and analyzed skid based chillers using SolidWorks, and streamlined the bill of materials for ice machine products. I collaborated with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure successful performance and delivery of customer projects, and supported branch sales representatives by preparing quotes and proposals for custom skid mounted packages. I have a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University, and I am an Engineer in Training (EIT). I have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and I am passionate about applying my mechanical engineering background to a variety of applications. Outside of engineering, I love to try new experiences, whether it be going on hikes, trying new foods, or relaxing at a park! I also enjoy cooking and baking, taking care of my plants, and reading and journaling as I continually work on self-improvement in all aspects of my life. I am always open to connect and chat with like-minded professionals.
