About Iris Dimaio

DiMaio is the current Associate Director of School of Continuing and Professional Education with experience Teacher Professional Development and Pre-College Youth Programs in the WPU School of Continuing and Professional Education. She has been an employee of William Paterson University since 1997. DiMaio has a Master of Art from Montclair State University in Educational Leadership, Bachelor of Science from William Paterson University and Certified Program Planner (CPP) from LERN. DiMaio has received a certificate in Project Management and she is bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish). She is an accomplished professional with a strong background in developing and managing programs, achieving goals and working effectively with diverse groups. DiMaio developed program offerings accommodating over 2,300 teachers and young adults during the school year and summer. She is responsible for overseeing course content, course objectives, master scheduling, and logistics support as well as the budgeting and financial management of approximately 96 programs running during academic year July and June. DiMaio oversees the registration and enrollment process; financial aid, academic counseling; the recruitment, orientation, and coordination of teaching and student counselor staffs; course evaluations and final assessment reporting. Ms. DiMaio received the “Extra Mile Award” from the Paterson Alliance for her outstanding work in developing academic and enrichment programs for 1,800 youth from the City Paterson and giving them a Taste of College Life from 2009 to 2011.
