About Iris Dulay

I have a Bachelors of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis with a focus in Human Factors and Ergonomics from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. I worked as an ergonomic evaluator for Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, California. In 2008, I joined Bellflower Kaiser Permanente Medical Center as an ergonomic and safety consultant providing evaluations, trainings and consulting for different departments within the local medical center and both regional and national Kaiser Permanente organization. I was also involved in the healthy workforce initiative and the inception of the Los Angeles Kaiser Permanente dragon boat team. While at Kaiser Permanente, I worked with facilities and end users on layout design. Working as a liaison between the two groups, I made sure ergonomic needs were being met in new builds and remodels. I also consulted for regional and national templates. At Humanscale, I continued to foster ergonomic growth for clients. Assisting clients after major builds and remodels, I trained staff and worked with companies' facilities and engineering departments to make sure end users' needs were being met. From developing new programs and policy to providing assistance to existing ergonomic programs, I have helped companies reach ergonomic goals while staying true to their company goals and mission statements. I have presented and provided trainings to help develop internal ergonomic champions within a number of companies, government agencies and municipalities. With over 16 years of experience in the field, I have clients at any stage of the ergonomic process whether as a consultant or an extra safety resource.
