About Iris Halm
I work with clients to provide project management and strategy advice at all project stages from initial concept planning through to implementation. My passion is to bring strategic advice together with deep technical expertise to deliver excellent project and programme outcomes. Clients know me as a trusted advisor with a focus on decarbonisation of the built environment. Since joining Arup in 2006, I have worked on, and lead multi-disciplinary teams on building projects in the Commercial, Multi-use and Industrial sector in all project stages from planning, design and implementation, both in Germany and internationally. Between 2016 and 2018, I took an agreed leave from Arup to work for BMW Brilliance Automotive in China as Project Manager for a new Testbench Building, strengthening BBA's Research & Development capability for Electrical Vehicles. Currently I am leading the Arup office in Munich. I graduated from TUM Technical University Munich in as a Diplom Ingenieur BauIngenieur (Civil Engineering), and have additional qualifications as a Project Manager APMP (IPMA Level D) and LEED Accredited Professional. Projects include- Testbench Building, RnD Extension for BBA, Shenyang China - Neues Konzerthaus Munich - Levelingstrasse Munich, Commerical Building - Project Management for Siemens - Refurbishment of commercial buildings incl. trading functions, Frankfurt
