Als eerste baan na mijn studie begon ik in het Rijksmuseum als medewerker service en veiligheid. Ruim 8 jaar later, intussen getrouwd en moeder van 2 prachtige kinderen, besloten het roer om te gooien. Via het uwv heb ik een beroepskeuzetest gedaan en hier kwam uit dat ik moest werken in de zorg. Na ruim 100 sollicitaties kwam ik aan een stageplek en heb ik in 1,5 jaar tijd de opleiding tot doktersassistent voltooid. Sinds 2023 werk ik in het olvg op de poli oogheelkunde. Voor mij is dit een fijne combinatie met mijn jonge gezin en ik vind het heerlijk dat ik op de fiets naar het werk kan.
