More details: I have played multiple roles from front-line Simplified Chinese translator/editor to localization project manager, offering me a broader perspective and deep understanding of the industry. I have been translating/editing millions of words for various video games, including titles, indie games and mobile games. I also have been offering LQA service for playtesting game content and various media assets, including digital banners, voice-over, and videos. I have great experience in managing sizable game multilingual localization projects in up to 9 languages, involving a wide range of functions such as translation, proofreading, and LQA. I have engaged in several gaming projects of top Chinese gaming companies and participated in the project circle starting from bidding, budgeting to implementing. I have a solid knowledge of most of the mainstream CATs such as MemoQ, Phrase (Memsource), Crowdin, Wordfast, Trados, etc. Besides, I am familiar with project tracking software like Jira and content management and localization software like Xloc. I am a trilingual speaker: Native in Mandarin Chinese, proficient in English, and fluent in Japanese.
