About Irma Tremblay

As Journalism graduate I have been taught the skills of using different types of media those including on-line, print, television and radio. I have been put under deadlines and easily met them. I was also a sports editor of our school newspaper and a co-anchor our Sports talk show for our television show. As Public Relations graduate, I have been to be able to select and utilize current and emerging information technologies to support the public relations function. Develop and execute communication strategies and public relations plans, write and produce clear, targeted communication materials and publications. Develop, coordinate and participate in the delivery of a variety of presentations. Work and communicate in a manner consistent with professional ethics, practice, standards and relevant law. Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal external public. I have a huge passion for sports. I have been very lucky to have been able to combine both of those for an internships with the LaSalle Vipers of the Greater Ontario Jr. B Hockey League and also have been with the OHL's hockey club, the Windsor Spitfires. Working with the Windsor Spitfires and LaSalle Vipers for the past four years has fueled my passion for the sport of hockey. Being surrounded by both teams has helped me gain the experience needed to be successful and has helped me apply the knowledge I learned in school of the media. I am very easy going and love to to try new things. I have moved away from home to better my education and willing to do the same for a job. I enjoy meeting new people and being a team player. I also am organized and like to get the job done well in a good matter of time.
