About Isaac B.

I'm Isaac! From a young age I've always had a passion for working with technology. During high school, I served as a local "Fix-it" guy for all my friend and family's computer problems. This eventually led me down the path to pursue a degree in Information Sciences at Indiana University Bloomington. I graduated in May 2021 with a Major in Informatics as well as a minor in Computer Science and a specialization in Networking. This exposed me to the larger world of coding/scripting, complex computing, and helped me refine my troubleshooting skills. During my undergraduate, I spent three years working for the University's IT division to get real-world experience in the IT industry. You can see some more details about my history with IU in the work experience below. However, in May 2021, I received an opportunity to work for AWS as a Cloud Support Associate specializing in the data storage and migrations. Over the past four years, I've received a wide range of experience in the Cloud computing industry as well as troubleshooting customer on-premise issues ultimately growing to become a Cloud Support Engineer II. During my time at AWS, I've achieved the Solutions Architect (Associate), SysOps Administrator, Security Specialty, and Game Developer certifications. Each of these certifications have augmented the level of support I provide to our customers not just in the United States, but around the world. I've served many on-call roles, lead teams comprised of my peers to complete projects to better the organization as a whole. Some of the leadership skills that I feel embody the most are: Customer Obsession, Clear & Concise Communication, Delivering Results, and Ownership. I spent a lot of time with AWS and I'd be more than happy to talk more about some of the things I was able to accomplish there!
