About Isaac May

My name is Isaac May and I am a first-year accounting student at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Over the past couple of years, I have developed my leadership experience through the Flood Club and Men's Basketball Team at my high school. In the Flood Club, I was in charge of raising $2,500 in order to keep our school's Flood chapter alive. As team captain of the basketball team it was my job to keep all 12 players working towards the same goal throughout the season as well as reporting to the coach on behalf of the team. I plan to use the leadership skills I have gained through these opportunities in my future position as President of the Buckeyes for Christ Club here at Ohio State. I have also been able to increase my communication skills during my jobs at the the Capital City Country Club as well as the Silver Bridge Coffee Company. At the country club I carry members' clubs and cater to any and all of their needs in order to ensure they have an excellent golfing experience. At Silver Bridge I work as an in-store demo specialist where I raise customers' awareness of the product by providing samples and knowledge of the company in hopes that they will later purchase products from the company. I hope to use these skills I have developed in an accounting position where I will work with clients to ensure their financial records are accurate.
