About Isaac Paul

As a Farm Manager at TriOak Foods Inc, I led a team of 15 employees and oversaw the daily operations of a swine production unit. I applied my data analytics skills to monitor and optimize the performance, health, and welfare of the animals, as well as the environmental and financial aspects of the business. I also implemented strategic vision and innovation to improve the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of the farm. Additionally, I have been fortunate to intern abroad with Self-Help International in Ghana, West Africa where I worked with small-holder farmers to expand their understanding of basic soil and plant health while reducing labor costs and environmental hazards. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Rural Policy Studies at Iowa State University, where I am learning about the global issues and challenges facing the food and agricultural sector, such as food security, equitable resource consumption, and climate action. I am passionate about working on these issues and contributing to the development and implementation of effective and inclusive policies and solutions. My career ambition is to work in a role that allows me to leverage my skills and experience in both agriculture and social sciences.
