About Isaac Rosenthal

I moved to PSCU’s risk analytics group in June of 2023, assisting a wide array of financial institutions ranging from small employer based credit unions and regional banks to credit union giants with fraud mitigation. In addition to assisting these FIs with day to day upkeep of their fraud decisioning rules I have met with them to provide subject matter expertise on broader fraud trends allowing them to set policies tailored to their own perspective on member experience versus risk. I worked at PenFed from 2014 to 2023, working in fraud roles beginning in 2016. Most recently as a Fraud Business Analyst II, I was a subject matter expert in credit and debit card fraud. On a day-to-day basis, I was responsible for writing and editing PenFed's real-time decisioning rules for credit and debit card transactions, maintaining a balance between security and member experience. Additionally, I worked closely with product owners to ensure that new products and services were rolled out in a way that allowed PenFed to be competitive in the financial space without creating unnecessary risk. In my spare time, I am a volunteer play-by-play commentator for Lane United Football Club (an elite-amateur soccer team competing in USL League Two) and the University of Oregon's Club Hockey Team.
