About Isaac Shields
After graduating from Trinity International University in May 2013 with a BA in Biology/Secondary Education I have been actively engaging in opportunities to work with adolescents in various settings. I have supervised adolescent boys with behavior issues at Salem Children's Home and after several months I accepted a position at Normal Community West High School. At Normal Community West High School I worked as a regular education teacher's assistant. I am currently working as a full-time science teacher at Rantoul Township High School. I am teaching Biology, Ecology, and Environmental Science. Science is used as a tool for students to learn life skills such as critical thinking and collaboration that help develop 21st century learners with the skills they need for the future.
