A proud member of Curve Lake First Nation, an Anishinaabe community between Ottawa and Toronto, Isaac also has roots in Zhiibaahaasing First Nation on Manitoulin Island. Isaac grew up in Ottawa and worked for 7 years at Indigenous Services Canada in management, policy and advisory roles with Jordan’s Principle and ISC’s Family Well-being and Mental Wellness Programs.
