About Isabel Cacacho

Passionate about storytelling, it fascinates me to see new worlds come to life and submerge within them while exploring my own imagination.Graduated with honors from UFM with a Bachelor's degree in Film, I've participated in more than 50 productions of all kinds, mostly as a producer and production designer, but still counting with a wider array of skills, allowing me to remain active within the emerging Guatemalan industry.Growing up as an actress, I embarked on the journeys of many characters, experiencing the narratives' structure and technicalities first handedly. These voyages inspired me to build my own stories, and become a screenwriter as well.I recently wrapped the Writing Program at Vancouver Film School. I'm also the General Coordinator at Guate Film Initiative, working to attract international productions to my country and expanding the opportunities for Guatemalan talent worldwide.With a newfound interest on video games, I'm now looking to introduce myself to this industry, both as a Writer and a MoCap performer. It's been a long journey, but absolutely worthwhile! It's now an asset to focus on my true passions and I hope it can be of use to those I work next to.
