As a business lawyer at Her Lawyer, I'm passionate about making an impact in women's lives by working with value aligned clients in small to medium-sized business, social enterprise, and not-for-profit organisations. ‍By supporting female decision makers in female founded and female-led organisations, we're not only increasing the visibility of women in leadership but we're also ensuring that women's unique experiences and needs are understood and accounted for when important decisions are made, especially when those decisions affect the women working within that organisation. 🦸‍I'm committed to supporting women in business because entrepreneurship provides women with an opportunity to be financially independent, which gives them the security to make their own moves and live safe, fulfilled lives. 🟰Needless to say, it’s a big part of our mission to work towards gender and pay equality. 🤔A lot of women tell me that they 'don't know what they don't know' about business law. I love teaching people what I know. Part of handing over this knowledge is giving women contracts that they understand and can use effectively. 🤓I nerd out on contract design to bring you contracts you won’t be afraid to show to your clients - think plenty of white space, easy to read font and plain English (legal jargon is 🤢). ‍I break down complex legal concepts in contracts using icons, infographics and pictures to make these ideas easier to understand. 🧠 I'm not just a whiz at business law, I've studied business, too, so I understand the value of getting practical advice that doesn't ignore your business processes. There's no point getting advice that you can't apply to real life, right?
