About Isabel Chew

I am a social scientist who is excited about translating numbers into compelling stories to help organisations make better decisions. With 10+ years of experience in public policy, consulting and higher education across Southeast Asia, East Africa, and North America, I have a track record in designing, conducting, and leading complex research projects from start-to-finish. I am experienced in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, with proficiency in R, Stata, and Qualtrics. These include surveys, A/B testing, conjoint analysis, focus groups, interviews, and content analysis. I also have expertise in instructional design, policy formulation & communication, and program evaluation. My doctoral research investigates how identity motivates political attitudes and behaviour. I study why people hold exclusionary attitudes, and how we can reduce prejudice towards marginalised groups in society. If you have a project I can contribute to, please get in touch.
