I talk more about the behaviours around finance than I do the actual numbers. As an experienced Financial Adviser and mother to two boys I help female founders find and repair their financial voice and growth mindset ensuring they are prepared financially for the expected and the unexpected. My Financial Services career started as a recruitment consultant to the sector, but in 2008 I took the bold decision to enjoy a more fulfilling career helping individuals and small business owners. My mission also encompasses educating children on finance and the behavioural science behind money management. By introducing basic concepts such as budgeting, saving and the value of money at a young age we empower children to develop responsible and sound financial habits and thus improve intergenerational financial habits. The majority of my clients are self-employed business owners and entrepreneurs and I support them whilst working alongside their Bookkeeper or Accountant.
