About Isabel Commandeur

Isabel Commandeur is a sparkling and versatile singer and actress from the Netherlands. Most recently she was one of the finalists in the new Dutch TV show 'ARIA', singing Opera classics. With her strong and electrifying performance she became the winner of the TV program 'My Name Is'(the Dutch equivalent of American Idol). Singing songs from the pop diva Christina Aguilera in the exhilarating finals. Isabel is World Champion of acting, winning a gold medal at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood. She also won a bronze medal for Vocal Opera, bronze for Vocal Pop, an 'Industry Award' and a scholarship for the acting program for Film & TV at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Commandeur graduated from Codarts Rotterdam, University of the Arts with a degree in Musical Theatre. Since then, her various musical theatre credits have included Saturday Night Fever, Daddy Cool, Lover of Loser, Bernarda Alba, Nieuwe avonturen met Dolfje Weerwolfje and A little Night Music. Her voice can also be heard as a voice-over in various tv/ radio commercials, movies, toys, audiobooks, games and tv series from a.o. Disney, Netflix, Amazon, Sony Pictures and V-Tech.
