About Isabel Ferraz

PT Licenciada em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais, pela NOVA-FCSH e mestranda em Políticas Públicas, pelo ISCTE-IUL. Desde cedo, enquanto cidadã, procurei impactar de forma positiva a comunidade onde me inseria, movida pela inquietação de idilicamente querer mudar o mundo. Com efeito, participei no projeto “Parlamento Dos Jovens” e em vários movimentos associativos, nomeadamente a Greve Climática Estudantil de Penafiel, conseguindo uma mobilização histórica na região. Para além disso, ocupo o cargo de Presidente da Mesa da Assembleia Geral da Associação Académica de Ciências Económicas e Políticas (AACEP). A vertente académica em que me escolhi debruçar representa o fascínio por querer teorizar todos estes princípios, adquirindo ferramentas fundamentais para desenvolver um melhor planeamento estratégico e uma maior capacitação e rigor técnico para implementar políticas que gerem, verdadeiramente, desenvolvimento, nos seus diferentes níveis. Assim, procuro fazer a diferença, clarificar o mundo que nos rodeia e trazer soluções para os desafios do presente e do futuro. EN I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations at NOVA-FCSH and a master's degree in Public Policy at ISCTE-IUL. From an early age, as a citizen, I tried to have a positive impact on the community in which I lived, driven by the restlessness of idyllically wanting to change the world. In fact, I took part in the "Youth Parliament" project and in various associative movements, including the Penafiel Student Climate Strike, achieving historic mobilization in the region. I also hold the position of Chairwoman of the General Assembly of the Academic Association of Economic and Political Sciences (AACEP). The academic field that I have chosen to focus on represents the desire to theorize all these principles, acquiring fundamental tools to develop better strategic planning and greater training and technical rigour to implement policies that truly promote development, at all its different levels. In such manner, I aim to make a difference, clarify the world around us and bring solutions to the challenges of the present and the future.
