I am a pharmacist with professional experience across various sectors of the profession, ranging from primary care and community pharmacy to the pharmaceutical industry, including companies like GlaxoSmithKline and Boiron Laboratories. I have always believed in continuous professional development. Throughout my career, my work has been shaped by teamwork, understanding, daily effort, and commitment to what I do. I believe in people and their ability to perform well, and I believe that working in a great team makes everything possible. Currently I am a Senior prescriber clinical pharmacist working for a PCN. I have been on this post for over three years. I am responsible for managing and optimizing medication therapy for patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to assess and monitor patients' medication regimens, ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. In addition to providing expert clinical advice, I am authorized to prescribe medications, conduct medication reviews, and make recommendations for therapeutic interventions. I belive as pharmacists we play a critical role in improving patient outcomes, reducing medication errors, and promoting overall health and well-being. Amongst other responsibilities, also include mentoring junior pharmacy staff, contributing to professional development, and staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research. My Industry Experience includes- CITIUS Internship – GlaxoSmithKline: I maximized my business skills in areas such as business economics, marketing, and business English, while also working daily as a PM Assistant in the Vaccines Department at GlaxoSmithKline. I was responsible for managing suppliers, training the sales team, preparing promotional materials, conducting market studies, and leading a web 2.0 project related to Infectious Diseases in Travelers- Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Industry: Covered industrial production, validations, risk management, human resources, quality control, pharmacovigilance, GMPs, FDA regulations, European legislation, etc- Technical Department at Boiron: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, quality assurance, patent procedures, production of homeopathic medicines, etc- Postgraduate Course in Graphic Design: I completed this to enhance my training in marketing, where I worked with specialized design software.
