About Isabel Marey-Semper

I started my career as a consultant in strategy and finance in 1996. From 2003 to 2018, I served in C-level positions at large industrial listed companies such as Saint Gobain, Stellantis and L’Oréal. Since then, I have been an independent director of Aptar, a US based company as well as director of the Imagine Institute for medical research and treatment of genetic diseases and the INRIA foundation. I also advice start-ups in the medical and energy fields. I was also a significant contributor to the french-government funded innovation investment program called "France 2030". I think that after the digital revolution, we are now entering the deeptech revolution, meaning that the world most important challenges will also be solved by new independent companies based on scientific and technological breakthroughs. Indeed, we are now entering a fantastic era with the convergence of 3 technological fields: the nano- materials, biology and data. This convergence allows breakthrough innovations. I am passionate about turning scientific breakthroughs into large successful industrial companies that will solve our century challenges! That's why, I intend to bring my comprehensive experience -management, strategy, research and innovation, finance, communication, public affairs and international development- for scaling up industrial innovative projects and building the new industrial leaders of tomorrow based on scientific and technological breakthroughs. I am a graduate of l’Ecole Normale Supérieure de la rue d’Ulm, holds a Ph.D. in Neuro-Pharmacology from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris and a MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs, Paris.
