About Isabel Povedano

After obtaining my Ph.D. at the University of Edinburgh (UK) which involved chemistry, physics, and design of scientific instrumentation, I started a new career path by working as Clinical Research Associate at ICON. In the last two years, I have monitored phase I, II and clinical trials in a variety of therapeutic areas such as traumatology, pediatric immunology, hematology, rheumatology, oncology, eye disorders, neurology and hepatology. I have conducted all kinds of study visits (SQV, SIV, SMV, and COV) and I have participated in the preparation/conduction of sponsor´s audits. I am eager to face new challenges and to keep improving my skills to support clinical research. Some of my aptitudes such as fluent knowledge of the English language, self-learning and self-organization abilities, great oral communication, team-working skills, and ability to write formal scientific documents are also valuable assets of my profile for the clinical investigation.
