About Isabel Salgueiro

I started in Pharma Industry (1996) as rep in Sanitas Menarini, promoting and selling products like FLEXAR (AINE),MACROPEN (cefalosporine) and PLAQUETAL (AAP). Six months later I was invited to make part of the Merck team. I started as ambulatory sales representative (DIM) promoting and selling an antibiotic (XORPIC) and some vitamins (ESCLEROBION and NEUROBION). In I changed my working area at Merck,started working at central nervous sistem area, promoting and selling a fluoxetine (PSIPAX), an alprazolan (UNILAN) and a diazepan (UNISEDIL). At 2002 I was invited to start working at cardiometabolic area, promoting and selling products like RISIDON (metformine), CONCOR (bisoprolol) and I launched GLUCOVANCE (the first asociation between metformine and sulf.). In February (2008) it was made an assessement for the oncology area and I was chosen.It was a big challenge for me at Merck, because oncology was the focus area at that time. then, I worked as key account manager until now, promoting and selling ERBITUX, a monoclonal antibody for metastatic colorectal cancer and H&N cancer. All my course have been very rewarding in Pharma Industry till now.
