About Isabel Silva

I love working for causes that matter. I am a curious minded biologist, service oriented and result driven, and a very engaged team player. It gives me a wonderful feeling when the team accomplishes the desired achievements! That is why it is very rewarding to work as Programme Officer Research & Innovation at the Dutch Kidney Foundation. After working as a scientist in the field of entomology, including PhD and postdoc at Wageningen University, The Netherlands, I have worked as project and programme manager for several NGOs in the Netherlands and for the Dutch Research Council, among others in the fields of biology, nature conservation, biodiversity and environment. I also have extensive experience in project monitoring within EU LIFE programmes dedicated to nature conservation, for a consultancy based in Brussels.
