About Isabel Z.

I'm interested in career opportunities in the legal field to further my education and experience, specifically at a law firm that offers legal services to those experiencing domestic violence and sexual offenses. I have a passion for helping those who’ve experienced sexual abuse by assisting investigators as a consultant in apprehending those who offend and aiding an attorney in creating a case to prosecute said offender. I have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies – Social Sciences with minors in Law & Justice and Psychology. I'm attending Edmonds College to get an Advanced Paralegal Certificate to further my legal education and skills. In addition, I also have a strong interest in forensic psychology and criminal profiling, which I’ve focused my studies on throughout my educational career and will undoubtedly benefit me in my future career at the intersection of law and psychology. I also have a background in theater and storytelling, and do voice acting as a hobby, which makes me a great candidate to interact with young children who might have to be prepared to testify on a stand or answer questions in an interview. Though I’m still exploring career options and where I want to end up, I do know I have a strong sense of justice and want to use that plus the skills I’ve learned during my interdisciplinary studies program and eventually my paralegal program to help the community and create positive change one step at a time.
