About Isabella Sofia Cozzi

I am a psychologist (M.Sc, Hochschule Fresenius München) and currently training as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (KJP) at IVS Fürth. My academic background in Intervention and Rehabilitation, as well as Clinical Psychology, is complemented by hands-on experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. I have worked in settings such as the Bezirkskrankenhaus Landshut (both in crisis intervention and psychiatric day clinics) and the Kinderhaus München. In my clinical work, I focused on treating emotional dysregulation, acute psychiatric crises, and suicidality in young people. I am experienced in psychological diagnostics (including WISC-V, WAIS-IV, K-ABC, IDS, among others), therapeutic interventions based on behavioural therapy and systemic approaches, as well as working closely with parents and families through psychoeducation and counseling. My master’s thesis on “Trichotillomania Therapy Insights: Evaluating Self-Help vs. Professional Treatment Effectiveness” reflects my ongoing interest in integrating research with clinical practice. Multilingual and culturally aware, I enjoy working with diverse families and building therapeutic relationships across different backgrounds. Outside of my professional life, I am a passionate swimmer and photographer, an avid traveller, and a published author, always curious to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
