About Isabelle Droll

My clear ambition as a CIO is to take a leading role in the digitalization strategy of a company. I believe in technology as a driver of meaningful and sustainable transformation – for businesses, people, and society. As Group IT Director at TUI Group, I lead the digital strategy across the Airline, Hotels & Resorts, and Corporate functions. My focus is on building secure, value-driven, and future- ready IT ecosystems that align with the company’s sustainability and growth ambitions. To lead in IT means more than delivering services- It means identifying opportunities, translating them into business impact, and prioritizing investments that deliver measurable ROI- It means fostering a high-performance culture, encouraging agile ways of working, and building diverse teams that thrive on innovation and trust- It means managing complexity with clarity – and having fun along the way. With over 20 years of international leadership experience in the tourism and mobility sectors, I bring a strong background in digital transformation, change management, and corporate IT governance. My roles have always been at the intersection of strategy, operations, and innovation – often across multiple countries, cultures, and business models. I’ve been honored to serve as a speaker and panelist at major conferences (AWS, World Aviation Festival, Gartner, MWC) and to be recognized as a finalist for “CIO of the Year” in Germany (2021 and 2023). I am also a certified executive coach and passionate about helping others grow. I am open to conversations about sustainable digitalization, modern leadership, and advisory board roles that require both strategic thinking and operational expertise.
