About Isabelle Nolet

With over two decades of international experience in the metallurgical industry, I’ve had the privilege of working across five countries—Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Caledonia, and Germany—on a wide range of commodities including PGM, nickel laterite, base metal sulphides, copper, ilmenite, ironmaking, and ferro-alloys. My core expertise lies in pyrometallurgical technologies particularly AC/DC electric furnaces, TSLs, Peirce-Smith converters, TBRCs, and their supporting systems. I bring a unique blend of 21 years in design and consulting with 4+ years of onsite operational experience, allowing me to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. Since 2018, I’ve proudly served as an Associate and currently lead as Global Director of Pyrometallurgy, guiding a world-class team of 115 professionals. I’m deeply passionate about process optimization, operational risk management, and advancing smelter performance through innovation and collaboration.
