About Isabelle Ouellet

Growing up I wanted to be a teacher, or a nurse, or a translator, or an architect, or a designer. Being a marketer never crossed my mind. But it turns out I like it a lot because it gives me the chance to explain, help, and create. B2B SMEs need committed, adaptative, and creative persons to reach their commercial goals. That's where I come in: I leverage my experience and abilities to help them grow on the international marketplace. Two days are never alike. I cover many aspects of marketing: copywriting, presentation and video creation, sales & marketing materials writing, show and event management, budgetting, planning, etc. I turn engineer and technical words into marketing speech. I keep an eye on competition and web analytics. And so much more. Collaborating with my colleagues is of paramount importance to me. I'm down-to-earth yet creative and resourceful; quiet yet determined to do everything I can to make the business grow. That's why I don't restrict myself to marketing. My general studies in international business provided me with a solid reference framework to act beyond marketing. Actually I do enjoy performing "any other duty as required": it gives me a better understanding of the bigger picture and the opportunity to learn new things. This is how I'm often assigned to projects related to legal, accounting or finances issues. I get along and work efficiently with a lot of different persons. I'm currently not looking for a new job - I'm pretty loyal - but I'm always looking forward to meeting new people, as well as sharing ideas and knowledge.
