About Isabelle van Helden

I’m a fashion designer and a graduate of Fashion Design in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I’ve always had a strong passion for inventing, designing, and creating clothing by hand. During my work experience, I’ve learned how to put together full collections, from designing garments and accessories to actually making them myself. I conduct trend research by exploring current styles, colors, silhouettes, details, fabrics, runway shows, fits, prints, and graphics. Based on this research, I create mood boards that serve as the foundation for seasonal collections. I work closely with the sourcing and design teams to develop collections. This includes creating tech packs suitable for factory production and detailing designs through technical drawings. I also liaise with the buying, design, and technical/production departments, and support the design team during presentations and meetings. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
